Behind The Scenes

What does DADI do “Behind The Scenes” for your business and the community?

Activity is constant at DADI, but much of it has a long term effect rather than being immediately noticed. Additional investor benefits include (but are not limited to):
  • Working to preserve a favorable business environment by advocating with all levels of government.
  • Advocating for basic infrastructure development needed by the business community, such as sewer expansion, telecommunication access, transportation/transit, utilities and tax structure.
  • Financial resource assistance for companies expanding or relocating.
  • Business expansion and retention services.
  • Assistance with County and Community government on planning, permitting or regulatory issues.
  • Interfacing with government entities regarding tax incentives and tax liabilities that impact businesses in Delta County.
  • Assistance with workforce development needs and training monies. In cooperation with other community agencies, DADI provides leadership in English-As-A-Second-Language courses for business applications, School-To-Career programs, vocational college curriculum design and related projects.
  • Providing relevant and reliable information and research assistance to companies making business decisions, including information such as local demographics, statistics and business listings from our Business Listing database.
  • Dissemination of information regarding the Delta County Enhanced Enterprise Zone.
