Building permits are not required for the construction and placement of any structures in the unincorporated area of Delta County. Individual communities within Delta County do charge for building permits. Please check with the particular community for specific fees.
Subdivision and Land Use
Delta County has adopted Regulations for Specific Developments. Prior to subdividing or determining a specific use for a parcel of property, the owner should contact the County for a copy of the Regulations.

Access onto a Delta County Road
Throughout unincorporated Delta County, a Delta County Access Permit is required for all new accesses to existing roads, or any time there is a change in the use of the land as it relates to an existing access.
