Population

During 2002, a little less than half of the Delta County population resided in the unincorporated areas of the county. The majority reside in the six Delta County municipalities, including the City of Delta (the county seat), which accounted for over 18% of the 2002 county population.

Between the 1990 and 2000 Census, the population in Delta County grew by 32.7%. The City of Delta led the growth during that time, with over a 75% increase (partially attributed to an annexation in 1998).
